Mrs. Stein is a Legal Nurse Consultant with more than 25 years of experience providing support to attorneys by performing critical analysis of complex medical/legal issues. She possesses specialized education and clinical expertise invaluable in the evaluation and management of claims. Mrs. Stein will screen cases for merit, determine applicable standards of care, organize and interpret medical records, retain experts, obtain relevant research, assess damages and injuries and provide assistance from the inception of cases through trial.

Professional History

After practicing nursing at New York University Medical Center, Mrs. Stein became involved in the analysis, preparation and trial of medical malpractice cases for a large New York based defense firm. Her prior experience defending medical negligence cases gives her a unique perspective. After moving to Maryland she became involved in catastrophic injury and complex medical malpractice cases for several Maryland firms representing plaintiffs. Mrs. Stein has a history of direct involvement in some of the largest settlements and verdicts for catastrophic injury cases.
